Ghana invites GE to invest in other areas in the health Sector
Ghana’s delegation to the 2019 World Health Assembly, has held bilateral meeting with the delegation from General Electric (GE) in Geneva, Switzerland.
Led by Health Minister, Hon. Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, the meeting discussed the phase II of GE project in Ghana, and the opportunity for the company to invest in other areas of the health sector.
GE is an innovative technology company involved in the production of hospital equipment as well as construction of hospitals.
The company supported Ghana’s health sector through the deployment of ultrasound equipment for midwifery units in deprived communities within the Ghana Health Service.
General Electric has also supported the training of about 500 midwives in its phase I project in Ghana.
