INAUGURATION OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE COUNCIL

Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu, Minister for Health, today inaugurated the 11 member governing board of the Traditional Medicine Practice Council.

The board is chaired by Mr. William Kojo Odum Eduful, other members are;

Mr. Paul Osei Kofi

Mad. Agnes Addae

Nii Abo Commey Gbaku

Mr. Stephen Appiagyei Donkor

Dr.(Mrs.) Anastasia Yrenkyi

Dr. Joycelyn Naa Korkoi Azeez

Prof. Isaac Ayensu

Prof. issac kingsley Amponsah

Prof. Alex Asase

Mrs. Delese Darko

Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu in his address charged the board members to work hard to actively promote Traditional medicine in Ghana and beyond and also help stop the importation of Herbal Medicine into the Country.

Mr. William Kojo Odum Eduful, Chairman of the Board, stated that they are ready to improve traditional medicine services and make it an effective and strong institution worthy of emulation.

He promised  that, before their term ends, they shall do their best to help achieve a Healthy population with our own Traditional medicines.
