A delegation led by the health minister Kweku Agyeman-Manu, who are attending the 71st World Health Assembly met with the executive director of the UNAIDS, Dr Michel Sidibe.

According to Dr Sidibe, the meeting was used to discuss sustainability & domestic financing for the AIDS response in line with the President NAkufo Addo’s vision for a #GhanaBeyondAid

Present also was Dr Victor Bampoe, a director at the UNAIDS, a former Deputy health minister.

The 71st World Health Assembly kicked off Monday with the Ebola outbreak in DRC and support for universal health coverage in the spotlight.
