Health Training Institutions urged to charge only approved fees

Mrs Tina Gifty Mensah, Deputy Minister of Health has urged Principals of Health Training Institutions to charge only fees that have been approved by the Ghana Registers Nurses and Midwifes Council. “Any Principal or Head who charges the students above the approved fees will be dealt with, accordance with the laws of the land,” she added. MOH launches revised National Medicines Policy

The third edition of the Ghana National Medicines Policy (NMP) has been launched as a health sector document to provide guidance and direction on pharmaceuticals and other health technologies. The First Lady, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, on Wednesday cut the sod for the construction of a new Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) in Accra.
